A Secretaria de Mobilidade e Desenvolvimento Estratégico (Semob) altera, a partir desta quarta-feira (20), o sentido de trânsito na Rua Estados Unidos, na Vila Franco, Zona Leste de Sorocaba. A via passará a ter mão única, desde o seu cruzamento com a Rua Alaska até a travessia com a Avenida Comendador Barbero.
Devido à mudança, serão implantadas quatro novas placas de regulamentação e de advertência nessa via e arredores, além de 94 metros quadrados de sinalização de solo. As mudanças também serão informadas aos motoristas por meio de cavaletes e terão o acompanhamento de agentes de trânsito no local.
O secretário da Semob, Carlos Eduardo Paschoini, explica que os técnicos da pasta realizaram estudo de viabilidade e constataram a necessidade dessa intervenção, como forma de dar mais segurança a motoristas e pedestres que transitam por ali. A recomendação é que todos mantenham-se atentos ao trafegarem pelo trecho.
