“Corrida Solidária Teste #AFOMENAOEFAKE!” é realizada no Parque das Águas e retoma clima de alegria e esportividade – Agência de Notícias

Aconteceu na manhã deste domingo (12), no Parque das Águas, a Corrida Solidária Teste “#AFOMENAOEFAKE!”, com percursos de 5 km e 10 km. Uma realização da Associação de Atletismo Santi Pegoretti (AASP) e Hermes Running Brasil, com o apoio da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Esportes e Lazer (Semes) e do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), e com o suporte da Secretaria da Saúde (SES) e da Urbes – Trânsito e Transportes.

Com mil inscritos, o evento esportivo, que reuniu atletas de diversas cidades da região, respeitou todos os protocolos sanitários de saúde e segurança preventivos à pandemia. Os participantes realizaram, durante a retirada de kits, no sábado (11), no Instituto Humberto de Campos, o teste rápido de Covid-19. As largadas aconteceram em blocos de 100 atletas, por vez, a cada três minutos, respeitando o distanciamento social, para que fossem evitadas aglomerações.

Além da retomada do ambiente de esportividade, a atividade também beneficiou a campanha “A Fome não é Fake!”, organizada pelo Fundo Social de Solidariedade, com o intuito de distribuir alimentos a famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social na cidade.

O prefeito Rodrigo Manga e a primeira-dama e presidente do FSS, Sirlange Frate Maganhato, também participaram da corrida. “Hoje é um dia muito importante para Sorocaba, pois, além de estimular o gesto de solidariedade dos participantes com a doação de alimentos, essa corrida representa que, aos poucos, vamos voltando à normalidade. Esse ambiente festivo estimula, ainda mais, o clima de otimismo e alegria nas pessoas. Parabéns a todos os organizadores!”, comemorou o prefeito.

Igualmente marcaram presença no evento os secretários de Esportes e Lazer, Pedro de Souza; de Mobilidade e Desenvolvimento Estratégico, Carlos Eduardo Paschoini; de Governo, Samyra Toledo; além do vereador Fábio Simoa.

“Ficamos muito felizes que ações esportivas, como essa, possam retomar. É notória a alegria dos corredores em vivenciar esses eventos oficiais. Esporte e saúde caminham juntos. Mesmo sendo um teste, essa corrida já proporcionou toda atmosfera que tínhamos antes da pandemia. Por isso, hoje é um dia tão especial para Sorocaba”, afirmou o secretário de Esportes e Lazer, Pedro de Souza

A corrida

Sob uma agradável manhã ensolarada, os corredores puderam reviver o gostinho de um evento esportivo. Em um verdadeiro ambiente festivo, a corrida contou com atletas profissionais e amadores. A prova teve como campeões Carolina Candea e Elionay Ferreira Correia, nos 10 km, e Nuclecia de Almeida e João Paulo Rosa, nos 5 km.

Alguns participantes se reencontraram com a atividade física depois de muito tempo; outros participaram para superar desafios pessoais e, é claro, que não podiam faltar os fantasiados, que sempre colorem e animam os eventos esportivos.

Houve, também, os estreantes, como foi o caso do auxiliar de escrevente Tarciso Rodrigues, de 28 anos. “Gostei muito de correr nesse ambiente animado. Quando vai dando aquela vontade de parar, a gente vai recebendo incentivo e não para, não”, revela o jovem participante, que não desistiu durante o circuito e concluiu a prova de 5 km, em 33 minutos.

Tarciso faz parte do grupo de corrida “Velozes e Registradores do 1º Oficial de Imóveis de Sorocaba” e conta que a corrida tem trazido vários benefícios à sua vida. “Sinto-me mais disposto e cada vez mais saudável, em função de correr. O esporte realmente transforma vidas”, completou.

No caso do participante Jonata Mena, secretário-geral da Câmara Municipal de Sorocaba, a corrida tem um sabor de superação pessoal. Ele conta que concluiu a prova de 5 km em pouco mais de 20 minutos. Além de cuidar da alimentação, ele treina seis dias na semana, entre corrida e fortalecimento muscular, e percorre uma média de 50 quilômetros semanais. Jonata já tem diversos eventos de corridas em seu portfólio. A última foi em janeiro de 2020, na maratona da Disney, em Orlando, nos Estados Unidos.

“A sensação de poder retomar essas atividades coletivas oficiais após um ano e nove meses é emocionante, sobretudo por uma causa tão nobre, como a da campanha solidária para doar alimento às pessoas que necessitam”, disse.

Sobre o bom tempo na conclusão da prova, ele relata que, mesmo sem os eventos, seguiu treinando. “Continuei me preparando, me exercitando forte com meu treinador, Robson Rosa, a fim de superar cada vez mais os meus limites”, concluiu Jonata, que brincou de maneira bem-humorada que carregou a responsabilidade de representar a Câmara Municipal de Sorocaba na competição.
